Teeth Whitening

The style in desired shades for teeth has grown increasingly white in the past decade due to the Hollywood influence, even entering into the realm of what was formerly considered unnaturally white. Teeth whitening is the most common and affordable method of enhancing your smile. Dr. Chase offers several methods of teeth whitening, both in office and take home kits that allow you to choose the the most convenient for you. There is no reason to endure dull, yellow, or stained teeth when you can have teeth whitened from seven to twelve shades whiter before you know it. Non-Metal Fillings

Metal Fillings had their day as the only alternative to repair decaying teeth. Modern dentistry provides tooth-colored fillings that not only are more aesthetic in appearance, but actually repair and preserve your teeth far better than silver amalgam fillings. They contain no mercury, are safer, stronger, and more attractive than metal because these composites do not expand and contract as metal does with tempurature changes that weaken teeth and cause fractures. Many persons are not only having their new filings made with non- metal composites, but are replacing silver amalgam fillings to better preserve and keep their teeth for a lifetime. More . . .

Dental Implants

Whether a single toothe is missing tooth or multiple teeth, dental implants are often the first choice when replacing missing teeth. Dentures can make gums sore or slip when eating and speaking, causing clicking sounds. Bridges can weaken the surrounding teeth to which they are attached, even causing bone loss. Dental Implants are like regaining your missing teeth because they are attached to the bone as a tiny titanium cylynder that acts as the root of the tooth. It is considered a permanent solution. Implants look and funtion as a natural tooth. While dentures and bridges often need to be replaced in seven to fifteen years, implants twenty years old are still functioning well and looking great. Porcelain Veneers

Of all the methods available today for changing and improving the look of your smile, veneers are among the most popular and successful with our patients. The process involves removing a small amount of tooth structure to make room for the veneers. Dr. Chase's master ceramist then fabricates the veneers on models of your teeth. After placement, the veneers look like natural teeth. Some advantages of porcelain veneers include: increased longevity, natural beauty and resistance to staining. Let us create your perfect smile and you will see what distinguishes Dr. Chase and his team from the rest in the field. More . . .

Aesthetic Inlays & Onlays

In the past, large restorations or large areas of decay, required placing a gold or porcelain crown (cap) on a tooth to provide enough strength. Now, with modern materials and adhesives, teeth can be restored with aesthetic Inlays or Onlays. Unlike a crown, these restorations are minimally invasive, retaining as much of the original tooth enamel as possible.

  • The procedure requires only removing any existing
    old restorations or decay.
  • Taking an impression for a laboratory model.
    • Fabricating the restoration on the model.
    • Then bonding the restoration in place.

Inlays and Onlays provide a healthy, beautiful, and more importantly... a conservative way to restore your smile. More . . .

Porcelain Crowns

The most common crown restoration placed today utilizes a metal lining covered with porcelain. These types of restorations are not as natural in appearance because light is not able to pass through porcelain-metal crowns as it does with a natural tooth. The result is an opaque or flat-looking tooth. Often, these types of traditional crowns leave a dark or gray line next to the gumline. Our talented team is proud to offer a natural-looking alternative: all-ceramic, non-metal crowns! With these newer restorations you will notice the "life-like" appearance that mimics natural teeth and does not produce the black gumline so common with porcelain-metal crowns. More . . .
